The Ropinator is 3D printed out of Themoplastic-Polyurethane (TPU).
TPU's qualities include, high abrasion resistance, great elasticity, low temperature performance and high shear strength. Each of these qualities makes it perfect material for the Ropinator.
Theory Of Operation:
The Ropinator slotted on one side is made to be installed without having to remove the becket, provided the wire rope dead end is properly prepared and cut to length. The flexible nature of the Ropinator gives it the ability to grab onto the dead end by expanding a little when jammed over the seizing wire and tape. The seizing wire and tape are important as they aid in the adhesion of the Ropinator to the dead end.
The Ropinator was invented in 2015 in Worcester, MA. The first working prototype was installed on a crane in October of 2016 and the product was patented in 2019. We know The Ropinator will serve you well!
